Commissioned Ruling Elder Timothy McCullough was named Stated Supply Pastor at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church beginning April 28, 2024. He replaces Reverend Letarshia Robinson who resigned to pursue other ministry endeavors.

Elder McCullough was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in South Carolina, the oldest of two children. He is a 1991 graduate of Presbyterian College where he studied Business Administration. He went on the serve 10 years within the U.S. Navy as an Information Technology First Class engineer and then later working within the corporate world (for such companies AMS, CACI, Di Novus, and Microsoft).

He served as a Deacon within the Baptist church and later moved his membership to the Presbyterian Church where he was later installed as a Ruling Elder. Prior to Covid 19, feeling the need to learn and grow, he enrolled in the Savannah Presbytery’s J. Richard Bass School of the Laity, where he graduated in 2022 and was Commissioned.

Blessed with a spirit of service, he was commissioned as a Commissioned Ruling Elder for the Providence Presbytery in 2023, where he served multiple churches. Receiving the call to serve as Pastor, he was installed as pastor of Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church where he continues to serve.

He is happily married to his lovely wife, Michele. They are the proud parents of three children, Kendra, Timia and Timothy, and one granddaughter, Adalynn. They had additional daughter, Janae, that preceded them in death. She will forever be written within their hearts and serve as inspiration each and every day of life moving forward.

Elder McCullough continues to live and serve by the motto “you can’t grow, if you don’t know…” So, each day he strives to learn, to grow and to share the message of our Triune God.
